Community Bible Study
Come see what happens when you discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible! Our interdenominational women's Community Bible Study class meets in-person from 10 AM-11:45 AM on Wednesday mornings at our host church, CornerStone Methodist Church, located in Ashland, KY (2203 29th Street). As part of your study, you will receive course books that contain both home study questions and engaging commentary. When you're at class, you'll start off your day with coffee and light refreshments. Lessons will then be discussed in small groups, and a large group teaching time is offered immediately following. We also offer an in-person children's program (infants through middle school) that meets at the same time on Wednesday mornings as our adult women's class. If you prefer studying online, consider joining our online study option that meets via Zoom Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM-7:45 PM. Study in Spanish as well at 10 AM on Wednesday mornings! Beginning Wednesday, September 4th, through Wednesday, April 23rd, we will embark on our exciting study of the book of Matthew. Next Gen Ministry
Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, worship, games, and other activities, we seek to provide a welcoming and engaging environment where the next generations can learn about Jesus. Our offerings are tailored to a child’s developmental stage, starting with babies, and going through middle school. Beginning in our elementary classes, our curriculum can be aligned with an adult class so that parents and their children may study the same Book of the Bible, enabling parents additional opportunities to assist their children in living out God’s truths in their lives.
Ethnos
If you’re learning to speak English as a second language, then this specialised CBS group – Ethnos – might be just perfect for you! Our cities, neighborhoods, schools and communities are multicultural, and it’s our desire to bring the life-transforming benefits of an in-depth Bible study to people whose first language is not English.
